Powered by Abbott’s Libre Sense Glucose Sport Biosensor, which provides athletes with real-time glucose visibility, Supersapiens aims to help athletes make real-time adjustments to their fuelling strategies.
Phil points out that this applies to fuelling and nutrition choices leading up to race day, throughout an event, and into recovery, which Supersapiens considers the ‘on-hours’. It also has benefits during the ‘off-hours’ around diet validation.
In addition to his role at Supersapiens, Phil serves as the CEO and Co-Founder of Team Novo Nordisk, the world’s first all-diabetes pro cycling team that aims to inspire, educate and empower everyone affected by diabetes, and as President and Founder of the Team Type 1 Foundation, an Atlanta-based non-profit organization dedicated to instilling hope and inspiration in everyone impacted by diabetes.
