With the health and safety of our community being a priority, and based on the direction and recommendations of public health agencies and local authorities in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic, IRONMAN has confirmed the cancellation of two events that were originally scheduled for mid to late July.
IRONMAN has announced that the IRONMAN 70.3 Musselman triathlon scheduled for July 19, 2020 and the ViewSPORT IRONMAN Lake Placid triathlon scheduled for July 26, 2020 cannot take place as planned.
The company adds that it is… ‘ working diligently on all potential options and further event updates will be communicated as soon as possible. Athletes that are registered for the race will receive an email with further details. In what has been a continually evolving and challenging time globally, we recognize that this may come as a disappointment but look forward to providing athletes with an exceptional race experience in the future.’
