Due to ongoing challenges related to the Covid-19 pandemic, IRONMAN has confirmed a number of event cancellations in the United States.
IRONMAN Wisconsin and IRONMAN 70.3 Wisconsin, IRONMAN 70.3 Santa Cruz, IRONMAN Chattanooga and the inaugural IRONMAN 70.3 Washington have all been cancelled for 2020.

Wisconsin
Based on the recent mandate from the Public Health Madison and Dane in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic, the IRONMAN Wisconsin and IRONMAN 70.3 Wisconsin triathlons scheduled for September 13 cannot take place in 2020 and will return on September 12, 2021. All registered athletes for both triathlons will be receiving an email with further information.
Santa Cruz
With the health and safety of our community being an utmost priority, and based on the mandate from the City of Santa Cruz in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 IRONMAN 70.3 Santa Cruz triathlon, originally scheduled for September 13 cannot take place in 2020. Athletes that are registered for the race will receive an email with further details.
Chattanooga
Based on the recent mandate from the City of Chattanooga in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Little Debbie IRONMAN Chattanooga presented by McKee, A Family Bakery triathlon originally scheduled for September 27 cannot take place in 2020 and will return on September 26, 2021.
Additionally, the Sunbelt Bakery IRONMAN 70.3 Chattanooga presented by McKee, A Family Bakery triathlon rescheduled for August 23 cannot take place in 2020 and will return on May 23, 2021. All registered athletes for both triathlons will be receiving an email with further information.
Washington State
Due to the current COVID-19 Recovery Phase that Washington State is currently in and the City of Maple Valley’s continuing efforts to maintain a safe and healthy environment for its residents and visitors, the inaugural IRONMAN 70.3 Washington triathlon, originally scheduled for September 20 cannot take place in 2020 and will now debut on September 19, 2021. Athletes that are registered for the race will receive an email with further details.
