The new Local Legends feature is now live on the Strava mobile app throughout the US, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Japan and Brazil. Strava has also launched a new Local Legends web page where athletes can receive personalized segments to compete on.
A Local Legend achievement is awarded to the athlete who completes a given segment the most over a rolling 90-day period. This is regardless of pace, and aims to create a ‘fun, new way to compete that celebrates grit, discipline and passion.’
