Sports timing company MYLAPS has launched what being billed as the world’s smallest decoder: the ProChip Smart Decoder, a light-weight decoder with claimed accuracy of 0.003 seconds.
The ProChip Smart Decoder is the latest addition to the company’s ProChip product line. The ProChip system is used at a wide range of active sports, including triathlon, cycling, running, ice & snow sports and more.
‘From the Olympics and professional cycling events to countless local races around the corner, the ProChip system is the most accurate in the industry and can determine the closest of finishes.’
The new ProChip Smart Decoder is said to be six times lighter and 2.5 times smaller than the previous ProChip Portable Decoder. MYLAPS adds that ‘the new decoder is way more affordable, which makes automated timing accessible for anyone that cares about accurate results.’
“Innovation is in our DNA,” said Camiel Slaats, CEO of MYLAPS. “Our product and technology teams continued to work hard on new product innovations during the current Covid-19 pandemic.
“With the number of sports events rising again we are excited to support our MYLAPS partner network with the latest and most easy-to-use technology. The ProChip Smart Decoder is an excellent solution for running, cycling, triathlons, swimming and more.”
The new ProChip Smart Decoder is compatible with all ProChip transponders, timing & scoring software, and Orbits Cycling software.
