Ride with André Greipel to fight ALS in Zwift’s biggest ever group ride

In 2017, pro cyclist André Greipel’s mother Gudrun passed away after a long fight with brain disease ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), after her initial diagnosis in 2013.

On February 8, 2020, André Greipel is attempting to bring together Zwift’s biggest ever group ride to raise awareness of ALS. As indoor training platform Zwift points out… ‘Training with pros doesn’t happen every day – ride strong and chat with Greipel as he shares his story.’

Zwift will be donating US$1 to the ALS Foundation for every rider who joins the ride, up to US$10,000. Those who complete the ride the in-game will receive a virtual Fight ALS kit to use with their Zwift avatar.
