Organised by apparel specialist Santini, the SenzaGiro auction is now under way – with donations benefiting the Namasté Social Cooperative in Bergamo, Italy.
Auction items include the pink jerseys produced by Santini Cycling Wear. The jerseys reproduce a drawing that illustrates Giro d’Italia – featuring 21 stages + two days of rest + the pink jersey of the final winner, with the SenzaGiro logo.
In addition, the following items will also be auctioned:
- 5 SenzaGiro saddles produced by Selle Italia;
- 4 SenzaGiro helmets produced by Bontrager;
- 3 packs of wine (and Extra Virgin Oil) of 6 bottles each produced by the Spinazzé Group, combined with the posters of the stages of Conegliano, Piancavallo and San Daniele del Friuli;
- The “mythical” Big Campagnolo corkscrew; and
- Two vouchers for a weekend for two at the Hotel Funivia in Bormio.
Each item has a starting auction price. At the end of July, those who put forward the highest offer will be contacted to proceed with their donation and therefore receive the product.
