The kids are alright on IRONMAN Poland Tour

Registration for children’s competitions accompanying Polish IRONMAN events has started. Kids Run Warsaw and Kids Aquathlon Gdynia are targeted at both ‘toddlers’ and teenagers. The aim is to build an event experience weekend for the whole family.

“We have the middle of the winter calendar winter, but the ‘triathlon bear’ is slowly waking up from sleep,” said Michał Drelich, Director of the Polish IRONMAN competitions.

He continued, “The Indoor Triathlon Warsaw is already behind us. Registrations are also underway for 5150 Warsaw and Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia, where there are already a total of 3,500 competitors on the starting lists. From today we accept applications for competitions for children and youth.”

Another event, Run Warsaw, will be held on Warsaw’s Vistula Boulevards, next to the location of 5150 Warsaw. Children will start on the eve of the main event, i.e. on Saturday, June 13. The program will include running distances from 200m to 1800m. Here, the limit of participants will be 500.

Kids Aquathlon Gdynia will take place on Friday, July 31, preceding Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia. The children’s competition includes swimming in shallow waters at the City Beach in Gdynia and a running stage on the Seaside Boulevard, ending at the finish line located in the middle of the beach. The shortest distance will be 50m swimming and 200m running, and the longest is a 400m swim and 2km run.
