USA Triathlon has renewed its bike partnership with Quintana Roo, through 2021. An official partner of USA Triathlon since 2013, Quintana Roo will continue to support USA Triathlon’s high-performance programming and elite development pipelines.
The company will also support the nation’s fastest amateur athletes competing at the Toyota USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships (Sprint- and Olympic-Distance) through ‘entitlement of the Bike Course and Bike Course Preview, in addition to other special offers for participants.’
The 2021 Age Group Nationals are scheduled for August 7-8 in Milwaukee.
In addition to its support of high-performance athletes and the Age Group National Championships, Quintana Roo will also provide exclusive offers to USA Triathlon annual members via digital and social media activations throughout the year.
Quintana Roo is owned by American Bicycle Group (ABG).
“The seven-year history between Quintana Roo and USA Triathlon made for an easy decision to renew our partnership as Official Bike Sponsor for the 2021 season,” said Peter Hurley, CEO of American Bicycle Group, parent company of Quintana Roo Triathlon, Litespeed Titanium and Obed Bikes.
“Our goals to grow and evolve the triathlon community into one that is full of passion for sport and inclusivity align directly with USA Triathlon’s initiatives. We look forward to working together to continue pushing forward.”
Rocky Harris, USA Triathlon CEO, said “USA Triathlon is proud to extend our longstanding relationship with Quintana Roo, a company that has been at the forefront of triathlon bike technology for more than two decades.
“Multisport athletes across the country rely on Quintana Roo to ensure a safe, fast and efficient ride – not only on race day, but through countless miles of training. We look forward to another year of working with this key partner to push the envelope of innovation at every level of the sport.”
