Mallorcan family hotel company, Hotels VIVA & Resorts, has joined up with the Mallorca 140.6 Triathlon as the main sponsor of the event.
The Mallorca 140.6 Triathlon will be held in Playa de Muro, Mallorca, Spain, on September 25th, 2021. This year’s event will mark the return of the long-distance triathlon to Mallorca. The long course event was last held in 2016. In addition to the long distance, the race offers a half distance and the option to participate in relays.
Hotels VIVA has 23 years of experience, and is a family-owned chain of seven hotels in Mallorca. These are located in destinations such as: Cala Mesquida, Playa de Muro and Puerto de Alcudia.
With a focus on sport, the hotel group has supported Spanish elite athlete Mario Mola, among other athletes, for a number of years. Teams such as INEOS stay each year in its hotels to prepare for the race season.

The VIVA BLUE & SPA is the Official Race Hotel, where all activities before and after the event will be held. This hotel is next to the Albufera natural park. It offers up a number of sports facilities, and is a regular destination for triathletes and sports enthusiasts.
