Zoggs has announced the signing of Keri-anne Payne, one of the UK’s best-known open water swimmers, as its latest brand ambassador. Keri-anne is a 10k open water Olympic silver medallist and double World Champion.
Since retiring from elite sport, Keri-anne has devoted her energies to the development of open water coaching. As a new brand ambassador, she will be working with Zoggs on building the brand’s position in the open water category in the UK. This includes the creation of content, writing blogs, attending events and working on new product development
Zoggs was acquired by the HEAD Group in 2020. Vice President of HEAD Swimming, Mark Hammersley, said “Keri-anne Payne is a high profile and successful advocate for open water swimming, as well as believing passionately in the importance of sustainability – this aligns directly to the Zoggs brand values.
“She is the perfect Zoggs ambassador to talk about the benefits and adventure that open water swimming offers, as well as working with us on ensuring that we continue to bring great product to market.”
Keri-anne Payne said “I am really excited to be working with Zoggs as they aim to make a big splash into the world of open water swimming. The right kit is an essential step to having a great open water experience. I am really excited to be working Zoggs on a whole host of exciting projects.”
Zoggs and Keri-anne will be at Henley Swim festival on July 11th, 2021, where the brand is sponsoring the Half Mile challenge for the third year running.
