Le Col founder and former Nike exec join Hytro BFR as senior advisors

Hytro BFR (blood flow restriction) has announced Yanto Barker, founder of Le Col, and Nikki Doucet, a former Nike Senior Exec, as senior advisors to help expand the reach of its wearable products.

Hytro BFR is a specialist in blood flow restriction training with its patented wearable performance products,. These are claimed to increase strength and speed up recovery.

Yanto Barker, founder and Managing Director of Le Col, reported got on board as a result of the impact Hytro BFR had on his own training, alongside that of other elite athletes.

Hytro notes.. ‘As a former Team GB Cyclist, Yanto brings a wealth of experience from the apparel and professional sports world, running a leading UK-based premium cycling apparel brand, successfully building the business from inception to maturity.’

Nikki Doucet also adds expertise within the sport apparel market. The former Nike Senior Exec boasts 18 years of global experience across private equity, investment banking and leading multinational consumer brand companies. She will also be bringing her expertise as a start-up advisor and strategy consultant to assist Hytro in the expansion of the business.

The news comes as Hytro announced a recent investment round. This will see the brand seek an additional £1 million in early 2022 to further establish itself as a leader in BFR training.
