Scheduled for March 11-13, 2022, the 2022 CLASH Miami event, known formerly as Challenge Miami, will seek to build upon last year’s success with a full weekend of endurance activities.
The 2021 inaugural, Sprint and Middle Distance endurance festival under the Challenge Family banner hosted more than 1,400 athletes from around the globe following COVID-19 safety protocols. Next year, the new CLASH enterprise notes that it is ‘excited to offer elite professional and age-group athletes alike [with] more opportunities to compete on the world famous motor racing circuit at Homestead-Miami Speedway.’
The CLASH Miami event calendar includes:
- March 11 – 5K and kid’s race
- March 12 – sprint duathlon, triathlon & relay, professional male & female races
- March 13 – middle-distance triathlon & duathlon & relay
‘CLASH Miami strives to demonstrate to the world that triathlons are more than just an event; it is a sport encompassing human emotion, perseverance and brave athleticism. The 2021 professional race utilizing a sleek, NASCAR Productions vibe was streamed live over Facebook on the CLASH MIAMI page (formerly Challenge Miami Page) and also aired three times on NBC Sports Network.
‘The 2022 professional race will also be televised and available over livestream for a global audience. The varying 2021 age group distance races and pro-am were also live streamed and available for replay on both the YouTube and Facebook CLASH pages. CLASH aims to deliver on even higher expectations for the 2022 endurance festival in Homestead-Miami.’

In addition to CLASH Daytona, which will be held in place of Challenge Daytona, at the Daytona International Speedway in Florida, the company will also be hosting two additional races in 2022, Watkins Glen and Atlanta.
CLASH adds that it will further expand its portfolio to seven or more races in 2023, all of which are planned to include professional races with prize purse offerings televised globally.
