Race Directors HQ, the online resource platform and community network for race directors worldwide, has launched a worldwide real-time virtual race celebrating the endurance events industry.
The Race Directors Run 2021 virtual event aims to give race directors and people in the industry a chance to have fun and race alongside friends and colleagues.
Race Directors Run 2021 is a free-to-join 5K to be held live on May 27 at 13:00 ET. The race is open to race directors, race timers, vendors, non-profits and industry professionals.
“It’s been a pretty dismal year for the endurance events industry, and, with things finally starting to look up, we wanted to do something to celebrate the people who work hard to put on races for others,” said Race Directors HQ Editor, Panos Gonos.
“So, we are putting on a race for race directors to have fun alongside their colleagues, friends and industry partners.”
Race Directors Run is free to join, thanks to the support of technology partners RunSignup and Charge Running. The virtual race benefits Girls on the Run International, and 100% of donations will go directly to the charity.
