Trek Time Trial: Willunga Hill at Santos Festival of Cycling

The Santos Festival of Cycling in South Australia will be holding a public time trial on the region’s iconic Willunga Hill on Saturday January 23rd, 2021.

Commencing at 08:00 local time, the event is open to all cycling enthusiasts who want to take on the challenge of Willunga Hill and pit themselves against Richie Porte’s record time of 6:39. (Entries for this event will be limited.)

The Trek Time Trial: Willunga Hill event will have prize money up for grabs – with AU$500 for the winning male and female plus crowning rights of being the King and Queen of the Trek Time Trial: Willunga Hill.

All riders who compete in this race will also enjoy a ‘special post-race rider experience which will include food and drinks.’

On January 23rd, time trial participants and spectators can then stay to enjoy all the road cycling action from one of the many vantage points for when the women’s cycling race kicks off at 10:00 local time. This departs from dÁrrenberg Winery and makes its way through the course to finish at Willunga Hill.
