Strava has tweaked progress charts within its app, noting that ‘You no longer have to be a triathlete to get all your activity data neatly summarized on Strava.’
All Strava athletes’ top three sport categories by time spent are now reflected in the sport buttons in the ‘Progress’ section of the ‘You’ tab. The top three sports also feature in the ‘Profile’ section of the ‘You’ tab, and the ‘Profile’ of an athlete.
The sports shown are the sports that athletes have logged on Strava in the last 12 weeks (and only those sports). Strava adds that there’s no longer a 3-sport limit. The charts now sum up every sport an athlete uploads.
The sports are ordered based on how often athletes have done each sport, with more recent activity counting more than older activities.
When viewing a friend’s profile, Strava users will now see their 12-week progress charts up top.
These latest tweaks are visible on mobile apps only (iOS + Android; app version 206 required).
According to a Strava representative, this update was highly requested by athletes.
‘Now users have it and can log multisport progress more easily and represent their overall athletic life better. It’s also now easier than ever to learn more about how your community stays active, and be inspired along the way.’
