December 3-4, 2022, saw the Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series return to Texas for the 14th edition of the Certified Piedmontese Beef Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series San Antonio. The event organisers reported over 17,000 registered runners across the weekend, which featured 5K and 10K races on Saturday along with a half marathon and marathon on Sunday.
In the marathon, Lamech Mokono Mositi (Grand Prairie, TX) won the men’s race in a time of 2:36:38. Janessa Dunn (San Antonio, TX) was the women’s winner with a time of 2:56:08. In the Rock ‘n’ Roll Elite half marathon series in San Antonio, Dominic Korir (Pacific Palisades, CA) and Sarah Pagano (Brighton, MA) took victory.
The Rock ‘n’ Roll Elite half marathon series offered a shared US$12,000 elite prize purse and Elite Beat Rankings (EBR) points to top three male and female finishers.










Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series San Antonio returns to San Antonio next year on December 2-3, 2023.
Moving into the New Year, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series is scheduled to continue when it makes its way to Tempe, Arizona, for Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series Arizona on January 14-15, 2023. The series then heads to Las Vegas for Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas on February 25-26, 2023.
