Life Time and the Sea Otter Classic have announced new additions to the speaker line-up at the inaugural Sea Otter Classic Summit executive event: ‘Unlocking the New Business Landscape’.
The Sea Otter Classic Summit is presented by Life Time and takes place on April 5-7 in Monterey, CA, immediately prior to the Life Time Sea Otter Classic presented by Continental.
Jim Weber, CEO of Brooks Running, and author of the newly penned, ‘Running With Purpose, How Brooks Outpaced Goliath Competitors to Lead the Pack’, will deliver a closing keynote for the summit.
“More than 20 years ago, we made a big bet that if we put the runner at the centre of everything we do — delivering the product they need and then celebrating the many reasons they run — we could build a leading brand in run,” said Weber.
“I am excited and honoured to speak at Life Time’s Sea Otter Classic Summit to share Brooks’ journey and connect with other outdoor industry leaders who work every day to inspire others around the many positive benefits of a healthy, active outdoor lifestyle.”
Other speakers added to the summit’s line up include:
- Chris Walton and Anne Mezzenga, founders of Omnitalk, a retail podcast and news outlet. They’ll present their point-counterpoint format from the stage addressing the top five most impactful business headlines executives must consider through 2022.
- Dirk Lueth, co-founder of Metaverse Upland (powered by blockchain technology) and co-author of a forthcoming book on the metaverse economy, will lay out both a vision and pathway for outdoor rec leaders to successfully bridge to Web. 3.0.
“The Sea Otter Classic has been the rally point of the bicycle, and increasingly, the many tiers of the outdoor industry,” said Frank Yohannan, co-founder and director of the Sea Otter Classic.
