The UCI Continental SARIS ROUVY Sauerland Team is showcasing the team’s journey for its fight to reach the Pro Tour level.
In a video series produced by Global Cycling Network (GCN), the first episode covers the open virtual Pro-Chasing series and subsequent training camp in Girona, where young riders from different countries competed to get a contract and become a part of the team roster.
Every season, the roster selection partly takes place through online races on ROUVY, giving international riders an opportunity to participate.
“We are excited to see how the team performs and moves up its level,” said Frank Schreiner, Saris Head of Marketing, Europe.
“The second episode is Race Season, and the third one will be at the end of the year – we will do the same search for new team members – so there will again be the whole process of choosing the members & highlights of the year.”
The team’s goal for the season is to achieve successes in international races in 2022, to qualify for the Deutschland Tour again, to defend the team title at the German Team Time Trial, as well as the lead in the German National Cycling League.
