HOKA has unveiled the latest iterations of popular run shoes in its range – the Bondi and Mafate.
Bondi 8
According to the company… ‘One of the hardest working shoes in the HOKA line-up, the Bondi takes a bold step forward this season, reworked with softer, lighter foams and a brand-new extended heel geometry.’
Taking on a billowed effect, the rear crash pad assists with a soft and balanced ride from heel strike to forefoot transition. The new Bondi 8 has been upgraded with an extended heel, brand-new foam, and pillowed tongue.
Mafate Speed 4
HOKA adds that… ‘the Mafate Speed 4 distils what runners loved most about the EVO Mafate and Mafate Speed to create an even better ride experience for runners looking for maximum comfort while tackling technical terrain.’
The newest iteration is updated with new textiles and construction, including a breathable, single layer woven jacquard mesh, offering a more secure fit. An updated two-part PROFLY+ midsole pairs light, responsive HOKA foam underfoot with a firm, responsive layer of rubberized EVA foam underneath, giving a cushioned yet responsive ride.
The outsole consists of 5mm Vibram Megagrip with Litebase construction and Traction Lug, which aims to inspire confidence on challenging terrain.
