Back after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, On and one of Britain’s oldest running clubs, Highgate Harriers, have announced a three-year partnership, making On the exclusive sponsor of the club’s unique athletics event, the Night of the 10,000m PB’s.
With a night of elite athletics combined with entertainment, the event is free for all spectators to attend and will take place at Parliament Hill Athletics track on the evening of Saturday, 14th May 2022.
The event comprises of a series of 10k races where runners chase their PBs – culminating in the elite A-race. The event also acts as the British Athletics 10,000m trial race for the World Championships and European 10,000m Cup, providing an opportunity for athletes to run winning times ahead of Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games selection.
Spectators can soak up the atmosphere with live entertainment. This includes:
- A 30 minute circus theatre performance and walkabout show from Fit Up Productions;
- A drumming session from Drum Works;
- A fire performance display from the team at Heartburn Entertainment; and
- Pyrotechnic fun from Entertainment Effects.
There will also be a number of licenced bars and beer tents, as well as food outlets, with DJs spinning tunes throughout the night.
