On the opening day of Eurobike 2022, on July 13, Taiwan, one of the world’s leading bicycle producing countries, will highlight its role of serving cycling enthusiasts worldwide via a press conference. This will introduce a number of brand-new products under the slogan ‘Ride into the Future with Bikes from Taiwan’.
At the press conference, to be held by the Taiwan Excellence program, four major companies from Taiwan – Giant Group, Maxxis, Mio, and Acer Gadget’s fitness tech sub-brand Xplova – will give insights into their newest products.
In addition, during her presentation, Gina Chang, Secretary General of Taiwan’s Bicycle Association, will provide details on current market developments as well as a background on the entire Taiwan bicycle industry.
- Giant Group is comprised of four bicycle brands GIANT, Liv, Momentum and CADEX. Giant’s CADEX, a wheel brand, will present its versatile, lightweight composite wheel, the CADEX 36 Disc Wheel System.
- Taiwanese tyre supplier Maxxis International will introduce three new tyre models: High Road (M228RU), Metropass (M2028EP) and Receptor (M2027RU).
- Acer Gadget is a subsidiary of Acer Inc. Xplova is Acer Gadget’s outdoor and sports sub-brand. It will showcase its NOZA V Smart Power Trainer.
- A GPS and dashcam brand, Mio will unveil outdoor navigation features ‘WeJoin’ and the the MioShare app.
