OnePlan is a professional event planning tool. It enables event site planners and stakeholders to collaborate in one platform that combines the characteristics of CAD (computer-aided design) with latest mapping technology.
Event organisers can use the tool to customise any aspect of their event site. Real-time collaboration means that objects and infrastructure across the event venue can be quickly deployed with an updated view of how the event, and athlete experience, will shape up on race day.
OnePlan is being used by World Triathlon and FIBA (International Basketball Federation), as well as teams from the English Premier League, NBA and MLB.
The online software enables fully collaborative event planning – billed as ‘a visual source of truth for live events’. The company notes that the software is ‘easy to use, saves time and reduces stress.’
OnePlan adds that its platform has already been used at over 5,000 events worldwide. The company’s recently forged long-term partnership with World Triathlon has seen the development of a customised version – OnePlan for Triathlons.
This customised solution is available for anyone organising swimming, biking and running events and features items specific to triathlon events including Athlete Preparation Areas, Sector Timings and Swim Evacuation Points.
International governing body World Triathlon will use OnePlan for Triathlons at its events over the next few years.
In addition to the main OnePlan tool for event management, the company also has a ‘hyper-realistic digital twin solution’… Venue Twin. This fully integrates with OnePlan and offers a new way to plan and sell events. Here, commercial teams can show and sell branding space, as well as selling seats & hospitality areas.
With Venue Twin, broadcasters can also integrate their camera spec (make/model) to define optimal TV broadcast views on race day.
Combined with Venue Twin, OnePlan is positioned as a single solution for all stakeholders – event partners, suppliers, security, athletes, broadcasters, media, local authorities, etc.

Other new features coming soon include the ability to export an event plan as a presentation / pdf to share with stakeholders throughout the event lifecycle. This will enable switching on/off different items on the event plan depending on who the event is being sharing with.
