Accurist has been unveiled as the official timekeeper for the 2023 Tour of Britain, the premier cycling stage race in the UK. According to the organisers, the partnership signifies a celebration of Britishness, as Accurist, established in London in 1946, is a generational watchmaker known for its premium timepieces.
To commemorate their role as the official timekeeper, Accurist has designed a limited-edition watch inspired by their flagship Origin collection. The watch incorporates subtle references to the Tour of Britain and cycling, including a unique dial texture, additional quick-release strap options, and a vibrant colour scheme.
Only 100 individually numbered watches will be produced, with each stage winner receiving one. The limited-edition watches will also be available for purchase through select independent retailers and the Accurist website.
Accurist branding will be prominently displayed at significant locations throughout the race, including televised broadcasts. The Tour of Britain, which covers various regions of the country, offers its partners a diverse and extensive audience base.
