The Running Industry Alliance (RIA) has confirmed that the first episode of the Running Industry Alliance Podcast in association with supersonic is now live.
As announced last year, the podcast. previously known as Running Industry Podcast hosted and produced by Matt Ward. has joined forces with RIA Co-Leads Rebecca (Becs) Richardson and Jonathan Midwood to become the collaborative ‘Running Industry Alliance Podcast in association with supersonic’ from 2023 onwards.
According to the RIA… ‘This is a merger that creates a strong collaborative message for the industry and sees the continuation of the leading industry podcast with a new series. The first collab series encompasses up to 12 episodes, each featuring chats with guests about the running industry as well as industry information, experts, interviews, online panel discussions, news, analysis, insights and updates for the running industry.
‘The podcast will focus on meaningful B2B running industry content, with listeners benefiting from useful information and action points that can help them propel their own profiles or businesses forward and make a real difference by sharing peer to peer knowledge, whilst showcasing and gaining a deeper insight into the running industry.’
Matt Ward will continue to host and produce the collaborative podcast with Becs Richardson and Jonathan Midwood rotating on episodes.
Episode 1 starts with a welcome intro and chat with Matt, Becs and Jonathan about the Running Industry Alliance, The Running Conference 2022, and this year’s conference.
Guests on the first episode include: Tom Kerry, Head of Sport – LimeLight Sports Group; Dean Swingler, Senior Sales Account Manager for Scimitar Sportswear; and Pete Cooper, Co-Founder & CCO of Coopah.
