Global performance outdoor brand Merrell has unveiled its latest trail running shoe, the Agility Peak 5.
Designed by experts and tested by athletes, the Agility Peak 5 offers maximum cushioning while maintaining excellent traction and connection to the trail. Key features include the Vibram® MegaGrip® outsole, improved lug design, 50mm of FloatPro™ Foam, and FLEXconnect® dual-directional flex-grooves in the midsole.
The shoe is also available in a waterproof GORE-TEX® version. Despite the added technology, the Agility Peak 5 weighs just 285g, 5 grams less than its predecessor. The new lug design provides 360-degree grip and a more secure foot placement. With its innovative features, the Agility Peak 5 aims to bridge the gap between connection and cushioning for trail runners.
Additionally, the shoe is vegan-friendly and incorporates recycled materials. The Agility Peak 5 is now available for order on the Merrell website, with prices starting at £140 for the non-GORE-TEX® version and £170 for the GORE-TEX® version.
