Building on the outsole of the Supertrac RC 2 trail running shoe, SCOTT’s new Supertrac Amphib shoe is specifically designed for coming into contact with water. This might apply to obstacle course races, fell running, orienteering or exploring coastlines and rivers.
The lugs of the shoe’s Radial Traction outsole are able to rotate through the surface while offering traction. SCOTT adds that this results in… ‘a technical running shoe that provides a solid foot hold as you twist and turn through riverbeds and muddy trails.
Based on the well-established Supertrac RC 2, the Supertrac Amphib features a heel-to-toe drop of 5mm.
The upper features a rugged and highly durable construction that provides protection against rocks and overgrown trails. The light but durable mesh offers drainage, so that the shoe can drain quickly after being submerged, preventing it from staying waterlogged.
