The Herd Group Holdings – parent company to Stolen Goat, VeloVixen and Wildcat – has gone publicly live with a crowdfunding campaign.
After a strong response during the private live phase of the campaign Herd Group exceeded its initial fundraising target of £200k by almost 50%, with over 185 members of its community choosing to get on board.
Last month, The Herd Group Holdings was created as the parent company for Stolen Goat, VeloVixen and Wildcat. Over the last 10+ years, these brands have won awards and featured in leading media titles– with over 83,300 people reporting choosing the company’s brands.
The support from the crowdfunding campaign will help support the company’s ambitions, which include
- Stolen Goat – further develop product ranges across swim, bike and run.
- VeloVixen – produce a new VeloVixen cycling kit range, designed by women graphic designers and developed with feedback from the community. Expand the product offering to include select third-party brands, selected by the community.
- Wildcat – expand the in-house range to include bags and accessories for a wider range of activities, such as hiking and camping. Enhance the bikepacking collection. Stock a wider range of third-party products.
CEO of The Herd Group Tim Bland said “We’ve been blown away by the support so far. We know that our communities have been, and will continue to be, a vital part of our success – so it’s fantastic to have this opportunity to integrate them deeper into our business.
“It’s a really exciting time for us, and we’re so grateful that so many people have already chosen to join The Herd. We can’t wait to see what we can achieve on this next stage of our adventure which such a strong community behind us.
