The Tour of Britain, which returns for its 19th edition in September 2023, will feature city centre finishes, a return to popular locations and brand-new host venues across its eight days.
Wrexham in North Wales will feature for the first time in eight years, before Beverley, Felixstowe, and Harlow will host their first-ever stage finishes of the UK’s pro cycling event.
The 2023 Tour of Britain (September 3-10, 2023) will start in Greater Manchester, return along the way to Nottinghamshire for the stage four finish, before this year’s champion is crowned following a final stage in South Wales.
The newly-announced stage details are as follows:
Stage two – Monday 4 September: Wrexham finish
Stage three – Tuesday 5 September: Beverley finish
Stage five – Thursday 7 September: Felixstowe finish
Stage six – Friday 8 September: Harlow finish
The organisers have previously announced that the 2023 race will culminate in South Wales on Sunday, September 10, 2023, as part of a long-term agreement signed last year with the Welsh Government.
More details of this year’s race, including full stage routes and competing teams, will be announced in the coming weeks.
ITV4 will continue to broadcast live flag-to-flag coverage of every stage, as well as a nightly highlights show, allowing fans in the UK to watch the action unfold. The race will be available to watch in over 100 countries worldwide via the GCN + and Discovery Plus services.
