Training camps at seven sports resorts with Destination Sport Experiences

For 2024, Destination Sport Experiences, is launches a programme of training camps at seven top sports resorts.

These specialist sports travel operator notes that these camps work either as a family holiday incorporating a training programme while the rest of the family relaxes, or as a group trip for a cycling, running or tri club with training sessions provided by professional coaches.

Sports resorts in Mallorca, Sardinia, Slovakia, Tenerife, Thailand and Turkey have been hand-picked, as offering the best facilities for an active holiday. And for the keen runner, the England Athletics Spring Training Camp is set on the Portuguese coast, hosted by top coaches from England Athletics.

On rest days, activities (depending on the resort) include swimming, hydrotherapy or thalassotherapy pools, massage therapies, hammam, jacuzzi and sauna, or strength and conditioning.

Athletes can either put together their own training schedules or Destination Sport Experiences will create a bespoke long weekend or week-long programme that can include coaching, guided rides and runs and other sports depending on the resort.

Gloria Sports Arena, Turkey
