Garmin shares record breaking Ireland run stats

Garmin athlete, Sophie Power, broke the female Guinness World Record of running the length of Ireland last Friday and has shared her Garmin Connect stats.

In order to beat Mimi Anderson’s record of three days, 15 hours and 36 minutes, Sophie Power needed to record her attempt with two time tracking devices. For this she used a Garmin Enduro 2 and a Fenix 7s which both lasted the entire challenge on a single charge.

Power completed the challenge late evening on Friday, May 31, taking three days, 12 hours and eight minutes, beating Anderson’s record by over three hours.
