British cycling apparel brand Le Col has confirmed the introduction of Pertex technical fabrics into its autumn/fall/winter 2024 collection.
Pertex material has been favoured for its lightweight durability and weather resistance.
The Pertex fabric range, including Pertex Quantum and Pertex Shield, offers a balance between weight and strength. Designed for extreme conditions, Le Col notes that these fabrics provide lightweight protection while maintaining flexibility and breathability, making them an ideal choice for active pursuits.
Pertex Quantum Air
Developed to offer increased air permeability, Pertex Quantum Air balances wind resistance with breathability for high-intensity activities where airflow and temperature regulation are critical. The fabric provides a combination of durability and flexibility, allowing cyclists to stay comfortable during dynamic efforts without sacrificing weather protection.
Pertex Shield
A high-performance fabric with durable water-repellency and windproof capabilities, Pertex Shield combines waterproof protection with breathability. This fabric is for extreme-weather outerwear, ensuring the rider stays dry and comfortable in wet, windy conditions.
