TAG ID and MYLAPS have announced a long-term agreement, expanding the use of MYLAPS timing technology to sports events across Chile.
TAG ID specializes in sports timing and works with a number of mass participation events nationwide across Chile. The recent Santiago Marathon, its flagship event, witnessed a turnout of 29,695 runners navigating the streets of the Chilean capital, marking the debut of MYLAPS BibTag technology at the event.
MYLAPS, founded in 1982, is a pioneer of automatic sports timing. Its technology is used all over the world, from the Olympics, to major marathons, and NASCAR through to a number of local races worldwide. TAG ID has partnered with MYLAPS to use its BibTag technology for mass events. This is in conjunction with the newly introduced BibTag Smart Decoder, which was developed to make the life of timers easier, with improved usability and optimal performance.
The MYLAPS ThinTag is 75% thinner than regular tags resulting in less waste and shipment space, helping with carbon emissions.
