Now in its third generation, SCOTT has given its Kinabalu trail running shoe a redesign for improved comfort, protection and running efficiency out on the trails.
Introduced in 2016, the Kinabalu trail running shoe has become one of the best-sellers in the SCOTT running collection. It has expanded over the years, with both race day models and training shoes. For the Kinabalu 3, SCOTT has developed a new design.
A release from SCOTT added… ‘With its increased cushioning featuring SCOTT’s Kinetic Foam, redesigned upper and outsole, the Kinabalu 3 feels comfortable, light and performs well on a range of surfaces.’
SCOTT’s Kinetic Foam is claimed to return 14% more energy. Meanwhile, Evolved Rocker2 (ER2) shoe technology is positioned as the shoe’s most efficient running platform yet. ER2 applies biomechanical principles to promote a more dynamic running position. This helps to reduce heel strike impacts and increase running efficiency, helping runners to run faster for longer, with less energy.
