The return of the women’s Primavera Classic, previously organised by RCS Sport from 1999 to 2005, has been made official, with the elite women’s event joining the UCI Women’s World Tour 2025 calendar.
The returning Primavera Classic will be held on March 22, 20025, the same day as the men’s Milano-Sanremo.
Bolstering the roster of major elite women’s cycling events, the Primavera Classic (Sanremo Women) joins the Strade Bianche Women Elite, which reached its tenth edition in 2024; and the Giro d’Italia Women, which RCS Sport organised for the first time in July.
RCS Sport added that the Primavera Classic (Sanremo Women) route and further the details of the event will be revealed in the coming weeks.
