Spinback from Zwift showcases rider achievements

Zwift has rounded off its 10th anniversary celebrations by launching Spinback, a personalized review that showcases Zwifters’ achievements since joining the online cycling community.

Spinback provides tailored insights that highlight each Zwifters’ key statistics: from kilometres ridden and workouts completed to fun facts such as the total number of badges earned and pizza slices burned.

Provided Zwifters have opted to receive marketing correspondences, they will start to receive their custom Spinback graphic from December 3, 2024.

Each user will also be matched to one of four Spinback Profiles — Fitness Fiend, Speed Demon, Social Butterfly, or World Explorer — based on their unique activities.

All Spinback graphics are unique to the Zwifter that received them and have been designed to be shared on social media.

To coincide with the launch of Spinback, Zwift has also revealed some statistics that mark the accomplishments of its global community over the last 10 years:

  • 9,074,894,166 total kilometres ridden – equivalent to traveling to the moon and back 11,809 times. UK Zwifters have contributed to over 14% of that total distance alone, racking up 1,313,005,577km over the last decade, which equates to 1,707 return trips to the moon.
  • 84,787,581,568 metres total elevation climbed – enough to summit Mount Everest 9.5 million times. Zwifters from the UK have ascended the height of the world’s highest peak no less than 1,376,363 times (climbing 12,180,207,402m in total).
  • 564,406,976 pizza slices burned – enough energy to power the International Space Station for 237 years, with UK Zwifters being able to fuel it for 35 years alone (they have burned through 82,171,749 pizza slices).

Eric Min, Zwift CEO, said “Hitting 10 years of Zwift is an incredible milestone, and the achievements of our community over this time are truly extraordinary.

“Spinback gives us the chance to celebrate those accomplishments together. Personally, I’m thrilled (and slightly staggered) to discover I’ve burned 4.7K pizza slices!”
