Styrkr‘s latest release Bar+ contains 45g of carbohydrates and 15g of protein in a 3:1 ratio to help optimise recovery, restoring muscle glycogen levels after a workout.
The gluten-free snack features puffed rice and soya crispies, mixed with vegan caramel and vegan protein powder, and containing real fruit.
According to Styrkr (stir-kuh)… ‘Its carefully concocted structure means it can survive in all climates, whether in your backpack in the baking sun or a zipped back pocket in the depths of winter – and it comes in three enticing flavours: Raspberry White Chocolate, Lemon Drizzle and Salted Caramel.’
Styrkr recommends protein intake following exercise for optimal recovery – and a high-carbohydrate intake to replenish muscle glycogen levels.
“After months of development and testing, we landed on a bar that combines the great taste and durability of our award-winning Bar50 with a science-backed formula for optimal recovery,” said Styrkr Managing Director, Christian Sanderson.
“Bar+ is designed with an optimal 3:1 carbohydrate-to-protein ratio to taste great, help athletes recover faster – and continue on their journey to be the best they can be.”
Bar+ is priced at £2.99 per individual bar and £32.99 per box of 12.
