Tyre specialist Continental has expanded its OEM partnership with German bicycle manufacturer Rose Bikes. The collaboration aims to strengthen Continental’s presence across the Rose gravel range, with four out of five new Rose Backroad models now specified with Continental Terra Adventure tyres.
The 2026 Rose Backroad lineup features a range of adventure-oriented gravel bikes for mixed terrain. Continental Terra Adventure tyres will be included on key models such as the Backroad GRX 820, Backroad Apex AXS, Backroad GRX RX825 Di2, and Backroad Force AXS.
Continental notes that its Terra Adventure tyre is engineered for versatility, delivering grip, durability, and rolling efficiency. The company adds that this makes it ‘ideal for modern gravel riding where surfaces and conditions can change at every turn.’
Karsten Jacke, Global Head of OE Sales at Continental, said “Expanding our partnership with Rose is a fantastic milestone for both brands.
“By equipping these bikes with Continental tyres from day one, riders get the complete package – a bike that’s reliable, comfortable, and ready for any ride as it leaves the shop floor.”
This expansion builds on an established partnership. Continental already supplies Rose Bikes with tyres for several other segments:
- Xynotal tyres for the Grand Control short-travel trail bike and the Bonero hardtail
- Kryptotal tyres on the Root Miller all-round trail bike
- Grand Prix 5000 road tyres on Rose’s Reveal endurance road bike
By expanding its tyre technology into Rose’s gravel segment, Continental continues a focus on delivering solutions for every type of rider, from road and gravel to trail and enduro. The updated Rose Backroad models featuring Continental Terra Adventure tyres will be available through Rose’s retail and online network.
