Cycling Time Trials (CTT), the national governing body for time trialling in England, Scotland, and Wales, has announced a partnership with UK apparel brand Nopinz, a specialist in aerodynamic cycling clothing and a brand embedded in the British time trial community.
Since its inception in 1922, Cycling Time Trials has stood alone as the world’s only dedicated governing body for time trialling, distinct from UCI-affiliated cycling federations.
With a history spanning over a century, CTT continues to evolve the sport, introducing a separate classification for road bikes in 2023. This change ensures that road bikes no longer compete directly with time trial bikes, levelling the playing field and welcoming a broader range of riders to the discipline.
Nopinz, a name well-known in the UK time trial scene, produces skinsuits and time trial apparel accessories. The Devon, UK-based brand also crafts road bike clothing that incorporates aerodynamic efficiency for competitive riders but also for cycling club kits.
“We’re thrilled to team up with Nopinz,” said Andrea Parish, Chair of Cycling Time Trials. “Their innovative clothing complements our commitment to supporting all riders, especially with our new road bike classification. This partnership will empower time trialists – whether on road or TT bikes to push their limits.”
Blake Pond, Founder and CEO of Nopinz, added “As a passionate time trialist, this partnership with the CTT feels especially meaningful to me.
“Time trialling is where Nopinz began, so it’s incredibly rewarding to now support the sport that gave us our start. By providing champions jerseys, caps and prizes – and working closely with the CTT on exciting cross-promotional initiatives – we’re proud to give back to the community and help time trialling continue to grow and thrive.”
