Deady Dozen targeting international expansion with njuko

The Deadly Dozen fitness race series, which launched in 2024 with five races in the UK, has opted for njuko as its registration platform as the series expands internationally this year.

Deadly Dozen events feature both track and gym-based challenges designed to test physical endurance and strength.

Deadly Run, the main event format, combines 12x 400m track runs with 12 ‘Labours’ (exercise stations). Gym-based races include Deadly Strong, focusing solely on the 12 Labours; and there are variations such as Deadly ERG races, which integrate rowing, skiing, biking, or air biking between Labours.

Jason Curtis, founder of Deady Dozen, said “The njuko registration platform provided all the key functions that we needed, and this helped us to sell out all five races in 2024.

“Following the success of our initial events, we decided to take the race worldwide using event management partnerships to bring the race to over ten countries in 2025. njuko, and their support team have been instrumental in helping us to make this happen.

“In short, the innovative systems that njuko has and the incredible support and guidance from their UK experts have been the cornerstone of what has allowed us to expand globally in just a few short months.

“Over the next two years, we aim to host dozens of races in dozens of countries worldwide, and we are incredibly grateful to have such a robust system behind us.”

njuko technology is used by other UK event organisers such as London Landmarks Half Marathon, PTO’s T100 series, the Manchester Marathon, amongst others. It has recently celebrated developing its 800th module in an ever-evolving customisable registration engine, empowering race directors with flexibility for their events.

Matt Trevett, Head of UK and expanding markets at njuko, said “We are excited to support the international growth of Deadly Dozen Racing.

“Being able to offer multi-currency, language and the back-end tools that allow cross country reporting and global statistics was key – we look forward to seeing 100s more Deadly Dozen events in the calendar.”
