Reigning European champion Lorena Wiebes (Team SD Worx – Protime), double Olympic gold medallist Kristen Faulkner (EF Education – Oatly), and recent Liège-Bastogne-Liège winner Kimberley Pienaar (AG Insurance – Soudal) are among the first riders confirmed for the 2025 Lloyds Tour of Britain Women.
The UCI Women’s WorldTour race will take place from Thursday, June 5 to Sunday, June 8, 2025, with four stages in England and Scotland.
Lorena Wiebes, ranked third in the world, will race in the European champion’s jersey. The Dutch rider has previously won a stage at the Tour of Britain Women and has over a dozen UCI wins in the UK since 2019.
Kristen Faulkner, racing in the US national champion’s jersey, won gold in both the road race and team pursuit at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Kimberley Pienaar, who rides for AG Insurance – Soudal, claimed a breakthrough victory at Liège-Bastogne-Liège in April, following a consistent spring campaign. The Mauritian rider, whose mother is Scottish, placed in the top six at Paris-Roubaix, the Ronde van Vlaanderen and La Flèche Wallonne this season.
Also confirmed is Ruby Roseman-Gannon (Liv AlUla Jayco), along with Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig (Canyon//SRAM zondacrypto). More team and rider announcements are expected in the coming days.

The race will finish with a free family cycling festival on closed roads in Glasgow, offering fans a chance to ride the same circuit as the pro peloton.
