Garmin has unveiled three new products designed for runners and triathletes: the Forerunner 570 and Forerunner 970 GPS smartwatches, along with the HRM 600 heart rate monitor.
The Forerunner 570 and 970 feature Garmin’s brightest AMOLED displays to date, advanced training tools, recovery insights, and smart connected features to support athletes. Both watches include personalised Garmin Coach training plans and multisport workout capabilities.
The Forerunner 570 offers up to 11 days of battery life, wrist-based running power, advanced metrics, such as training readiness and VO2 max, plus smart notifications and music streaming.
The Forerunner 970 adds built-in full-colour mapping with turn-by-turn navigation, an LED flashlight, and additional performance metrics such as running economy and step speed loss, which require pairing with the new HRM 600. It provides up to 15 days of battery life and features a scratch-resistant sapphire lens and titanium bezel.
The HRM 600 is a rechargeable heart rate monitor that tracks heart rate and variability data without the need to wear a watch. It comes with a washable strap in two sizes and offers up to two months of battery life.
Susan Lyman, Garmin Vice President of Consumer Sales and Marketing, said the products are “created for every athlete chasing goals and passionate about their data.”
The Forerunner 570, 970, and HRM 600 are available to order from May 21 with retail prices of US$549.99, US$749.99, and US$169.99 respectively.
