Going long: Under Armour launches Infinite Elite 2 run shoe

Under Armour has released the second iteration of its Infinite Elite shoe. Positioned as a ‘long-run solution’, UA claims that the new shoe… ‘delivers plushness, rebound and bounce over long distances and high mileage’.

In the UA Infinite Elite 2, key changes to the original Infinite Elite include:

  • HOVR+: A softer HOVR+ foam underfoot for an improved run experience.
  • Lighter: The softer HOVR+ and sleeker tooling used provide a reduction in overall weight (e.g. 9.9oz vs 11.5oz for the previous version)
  • New upper: A lightweight and breathable engineered mesh upper.

In addition, a wider heel and forefoot supports runners with added guidance without excess weight.

Priceed at US$160, €160, £145, the shoe offset is 8mm, with midsole heights of 36mm (heel) and 28mm (forefoot).
