Italian helmet manufacturer KASK has confirmed a two-year partnership with the Unibet Tietema Rockets.
The French-registered, Dutch-based, UCI ProTeam will wear KASK throughout the 2025 and 2026 seasons – from the KASK Valegro, through to the Elemento, the Nirvana, and the Mistral and Bambino Pro Evo helmets.
Since their recent origins in 2019, the Unibet Tietema Rockets have broken the mould on how a modern, professional cycling team can be run. It all began in 2019 when Bas Tietema, a former amateur road cyclist, and his teammates Devin van der Wiel and Josse Wester, launched a YouTube channel to document their ‘parallel participation’ in the Tour de France – not as competitors, but as content creators with a unique and unconventional approach.
The response from online audiences was immediate; their channel quickly surpassed 100,000 followers. Over the next few years, Tietema and his team worked to secure the necessary resources, and in 2023, they formed their own cycling team with the goal of one day competing in the real Tour de France.
After two years as TDT-Unibet Cycling Team they have their own franchise name. From 2025, Unibet Tietema Rockets is a UCI ProTeam.
