SCOTT Sports has confirmed the signing of Romanian trail runner Madalina Florea as the newest member of its SCOTT Running team.
In a release SCOTT noted… ‘This sponsorship marks the beginning of an exciting chapter for SCOTT and Florea, who will don the brand’s iconic black and yellow colours as she competes in the 2025 trail running season, with a primary focus on the prestigious Golden Trail World Series (GTWS).’
Madalina Florea joins a roster of elite ambassador athletes on the SCOTT Running team, including French runners Iris Pessey and Anne-Lise Rousset. Florea has rapidly risen to prominence in the world of trail running, establishing herself as one of the sport’s brightest talents.
Her career has already been marked by impressive achievements, including podium finishes in some of the world’s most prestigious races. Her crowning achievement to date came in 2023 when she clinched victory at the GTWS Finale in Golfo dell’Isola, Italy, outpacing a fiercely competitive field to claim the win in the series’ grand final event.
As the 2025 season kicks off, Florea will laces up her SCOTT gear and take on the Golden Trail World Series.
“I am very excited and proud to join the SCOTT family and I will do my best to push the brand forward,” Madalina Florea said. “The Supertrac RC 3 shoe feels like it was made for me, and I am proud that SCOTT trusts me to help develop new products.”
