Parlee Cycles has launched the all-new Z-Zero GT – a fully re-engineered evolution of the US-based company’s flagship road bike – alongside a limited 25th anniversary edition paying tribute to late founder Bob Parlee.
Described by the brand as a ‘love letter to the road’, the new Z-Zero GT draws inspiration from Grand Touring cars, combining updated geometry and modern compatibility with Parlee’s signature carbon design work.
Key features include a lighter, stiffer frame (893g for a typical 53cm), room for up to 40mm tyres, and an all-new fork with an internal routing system that allows for a classic slender head tube design while concealing brake lines. Each frame is handmade in Beverly, MA, and is available in 12 sizes or with full custom geometry.
Complete Z-Zero GT builds start at US$16,490, with framesets priced from US$12,490. Top-tier builds featuring the new Campagnolo Super Record Wireless 13-speed drivetrain are listed at US$22,990. Deliveries are expected from August 2025, with new orders currently estimated for November.
To mark 25 years of Parlee, the brand is also releasing a special edition Z-Zero GT, limited to just 25 individually numbered bikes. Each is built to rider-specific fit data and finished with a curated component spec, including SRM powermeter, Partington R-Series carbon wheels, Ceramic Speed bearings, Busyman leather details and gold leaf paint inlays.
This collector’s build ships with a matching pair of custom Lake shoes, a Silca SuperPista floor pump, and signed Silca tools in a wooden case. The MSRP for the 25th Anniversary Edition is US$29,990, with delivery scheduled for late autumn/fall 2025.
The edition also pays homage to Bob Parlee, who passed away in 2024, and whose pioneering work in carbon fibre design and attention to ride quality remain foundational to the brand. Each limited bike features personal design touches – including a head badge based on Bob Parlee sketchbook drawings.
