Tough Mudder UK has concluded its 2025 season, with the obstacle course racing (OCR) specialist reporting over 80,000 participants taking on courses across the UK, collectively covering 900,000km.
Participants earned their headbands through a mix of 5km and 15km courses, alongside the longer Infinity and endurance challenges.
The London West event stood out as one of the season’s biggest, welcoming around 18,000 participants in a single weekend. The course featured over 550m of elevation and a number of obstacles.
A major milestone for the UK was the arrival of World’s Toughest Mudder on home soil for the first time. Set against the backdrop of Belvoir Castle, 1,515 athletes from 21 countries took on the 24-hour challenge in high temperatures.
Competitors delivered performances with champions covering well over 160km (100 miles).
The season also celebrated athletes who completed the ‘Holy Grail’ by conquering Infinity, Toughest Mudder, and World’s Toughest Mudder within a single year.

The 2025 season was also a strong year for fundraising, with the Tough Mudder community surpassing £1 million raised for charity. Supported causes include Macmillan, Mind, Cancer Research UK, and Alzheimer’s Research UK.
