Wahoo Fitness has announced its 2025 sponsorship roster, showcasing a commitment to women’s cycling. From 2025 onwards, Wahoo points out that it will only sponsor men’s teams with a women’s counterpart, solidifying its stance on promoting equality and fostering growth in women’s professional cycling.
Wahoo adds that this move underscores a dedication towards levelling the playing field and empowering female athletes on the international stage.
As part of this initiative, Wahoo is launching ‘Embrace Every Moment’, a celebration of the Women’s WorldTour and its athletes. A new video series spotlights the drama of the women’s peloton, towards the premier cycling event of the year: the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.
Three teams – Human Powered Health, EF Education-Oatly and Lidl-Trek – will feature in exclusive episodes that delve into the stories behind their Tour de France Femmes journeys.
Embrace Every Moment video release dates:
- Episode 1: Human Powered Health – January 21, 2025
- Episode 2: EF Education-Oatly – February 4
- Episode 3: Lidl-Trek – February 18
Kristen Faulkner, professional rider for EF Education -Oatly, said: “As we start the 2025 season at the Tour Down Under, it’s an ideal time to celebrate how far women’s cycling has come with Embrace Every Moment – and the important work still ahead.
“Some of my happiest moments are when I’m riding, and I want to share that joy with others. From the fans who show up at our races to the young girls who are just getting started on a bike, I hope my teammates and I can inspire more women and girls to embrace the sport of cycling.”
In 2025, Wahoo will support a wide array of women’s teams across all UCI levels, providing its technology, including ELEMNT cycling computers, TRACKR Heart Rate monitors, KICKR trainers, SPEEDPLAY pedals, and its Wahoo X software membership.
