BEKO renews support for UCI Cyclocross World Cup

For the second season running, the household appliance brand BEKO will be a platinum partner for the UCI Cyclocross World Cup. This partnership was established via the sports marketing agency Golazo.

In return for its support, BEKO, a subsidiary of Arçelik AS, will enjoy significant visibility at all rounds of the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup. Arçelik is part of multinational group Koç Holding, Turkey’s largest industrial and commercial conglomerate and one of the top 500 largest companies in the world.

UCI World Champ venues decided up to 2015
Meanwhile, future World Championships for track, cyclocross, para-cycling and mountain bike masters were awarded during the first UCI Management Committee meeting of the year in Belgium. At its meeting in Koksijde during the 2012 Cyclo-cross World Championships at the end of January, the UCI Management Committee awarded the following World Championships:

  • 2013 Track Cycling: Minsk (BLR)
  • 2013 Mountain Bike Masters: Pietermaritzburg (RSA)
  • 2014 Track Cycling: Cali (COL)
  • 2014 Para-cycling Road: Greenville, South Carolina (USA)
  • 2015 Cyclo-cross: Tabor (CZE)

While Pietermaritzburg and Tabor have already hosted UCI World Championships, it will be a first for Greenville, Minsk and Cali. The latter will welcome the first UCI World Championships in Latin America for 19 years.

The next UCI Management Committee is scheduled to take place in Salzburg (AUT) on 14-15 June 2012.
