British Triathlon is looking to appoint a Head Coach based at its headquarters in Loughborough. This is a unique opportunity as the organisation prepares for an Olympics on home soil.
A critical role leading up to the 2012 Olympics, the Head Coach will lead the coaching delivery within the British Triathlon World Class Programme to develop a Great Britain Triathlon team that delivers medals at the Olympic Games in 2012. Working in partnership with the Performance Manager and Talent Development Coach, the Head Coach will support the development and implementation of the four year British Triathlon Olympic strategy and ensure that quality consistent coaching exists throughout the performance pathway.
Applicants will need to demonstrate experience of elite coaching and substantial experience of high performance sport as an athlete, coach, or administrator. Applicants must be able to spend periods of time away from home at weekends and evenings and travel extensively overseas for extended periods
